This week held a momentous occasion... Emma learned or rather chose to ride her bike with no training wheels! I felt she always could but had no interest in receiving any booboos... Like most Girly girls skinned knees are not princess worthy. But playing with her pet toads is? She's so amazing and funny! Jake my little handsome man is two weeks from turning nine and I'm really starting to kick myself for ever wanting them to grow up! He so sweet. Such a wonderful and thoughtful person! I hope he keeps these traits for they are his shining lights. Emma and I went to Nashville to visit my BFF Becky and her two daughters Meredith and Claire. No boys allowed this trip! :0) We caught up on all things friends need to. No matter how long between visits or phone calls we are soul sisters to the end! The girls had a blast at Disney on ice and playing. Moms had a blast watching the girls and talking. Boys back home had fun doing "boy" stuff which included Gus's chicken and real steel movie. Hopefully they will be careful if a bike ride was taken... Yes, mark fought the pavement and the pavement won on the first outing. Of course in his defense Jake did cut right in front of him... And rather than take out his son he rolled the bike with him on it! Thank god he has a hard head! Needless to say a trip to the bike store saw mark purchasing a bike helmet. Funny! So we are so excited that this week coming up we are on fall break! Yay!! I think I'm more excited than the kids! No huge plans but a few fun things planned! More pics to follow! Weather is beautiful! Fall is here and looking forward to all the holidays soon approaching. The leaves have begun to change and the colors are staring to pop. God bless change!
